6XI was founded by Shara Senderoff who was named one of Forbes’ “30 under 30” leaders in Tech, Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business 2012,” Fast Company's "1000 Most Creative People in Business 2013," and CEO.com’s “14 Most Creative CEOs.” She is a contributing writer for The Huffington Post and LinkedIn’s Influencer Program.
With a passion for Film and Television, Shara began as an intern for mega producers Scott Rudin (The Social Network), Dan Jinks & Bruce Cohen (American Beauty) and Kevin Bright (Friends). Shara created The Mark Gordon Company's New Media Department to leverage technology, the social dynamics of the web and the company’s expertise in storytelling to develop new properties with cross platform capabilities. Shara has developed feature films with Universal Pictures, DreamWorks, 20th Century Fox, Sony, Dimension and Paramount.
Shara went on to partner with Mark Gordon to launch Intern/Career Sushi, an innovative web platform that reinvents the way interns, entry & mid-level candidates apply to internships and jobs. The site boosts 12,000 hiring companies and hundreds of thousands of candidates.
